Where gears meet skin: industrial designs, mechanical marvels, and steampunk aesthetics that tell stories of innovation and imagination.
I'm Rex, and I live where the industrial meets the fantastical. My work draws from Chicago's rich manufacturing history and the endless possibilities of steampunk imagination. I specialize in mechanical designs, intricate gearwork, and industrial aesthetics that blend the real with the surreal.
From detailed engine parts to fantastical airships, every piece is a celebration of human ingenuity and artistic vision.

Follow these steps to ensure your new tattoo heals properly and looks its best for years to come.
Keep the initial bandage on for 2-4 hours after your session. Your artist will let you know the exact time based on your tattoo.
After removing the bandage, wash the tattoo gently with lukewarm water and fragrance-free antibacterial soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.
Apply a thin layer of fragrance-free moisturizer or tattoo aftercare ointment 2-3 times daily. A little goes a long way.
Your tattoo will start to peel and flake after a few days. This is normal. Never pick, scratch, or peel the flaking skin.
Keep your new tattoo out of direct sunlight for at least 2-3 weeks. Once healed, always apply SPF 30+ sunscreen to keep colors vibrant.
No swimming pools, hot tubs, baths, or saunas for at least 2-3 weeks. Quick showers are fine.
